Domination Balance Issues – Is B Flag Still Too Hard to Contest?
I’ve been enjoying Black Ops 6 a lot, but I’m running into a consistent issue with Domination—the B flag is still toocheap bo6 bot lobby dominant. Some maps make it almost impossible to contest once the enemy gets set up with a few good players and some killstreaks. It becomes a total death trap.
I know this has always been part of Domination, but in BO6, it feels even more punishing. Some of the mid-map designs funnel you right into sightlines with little to no cover. I’m thinking specifically of maps like "Foundry" and "Pyramid"—if a team gets there first and sets up a few Claymores and field upgrades, it becomes next to impossible to get it back.
There are counters, sure. Smoke grenades help, and so do flanks, but if the enemy is smart and watching angles, you just die over and over. I get that B is meant to be the hardest point to hold, but shouldn’t it also be possible to retake?
What I’d love to see is better mid-round balancing mechanics. Like maybe a temporary speed boost when a team is triple capped or spawn protection that actually helps you push B without being gunned down the second you round a corner.
Am I alone in feeling this? I’m not saying it’s broken, but it does feel like Domination in Black Ops 6 is tilted toward whoever gets the upper hand early.
